Be a leading Pacific voice and help elevate the climate priorities of the Blue Pacific Continent on the global stage at the world’s largest and most important climate summit.
Ahead of Pre COP 31 meetings in the Pacific and COP31 in Antalya, the Türkiye–Australia Partnership will appoint special Pacific Envoys to help elevate the agenda of this unique COP partnership.
What Pacific COP31 Envoys will do:
- Represent a globally focused Pacific perspective
- Elevate Pacific leadership in international climate discussions
- Advance key priorities for the region and galvanise international action.
The COP 31 Envoys will advance key prorities consistent with the COP 31 Pacific partnership inclusing:
- Ocean - Climate nexus
- Access to Finance; and
- Keeping 1.5˚C within reach
Nominations only from Pacific Islands Forum member countries.
