The Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisation will meet members from 15 countries in Nadi next week for the group's 10th annual general meeting.

PIPSO chief executive officer Mereia Volavola said it was important that PIPSO members take part in formulating PIPSO's strategic plan for the next three years during the meeting.

"It is their organisation and they will determine PIPSO's strategic focus especially with regards to private sector development," she said.

"At this meeting, it is also an important opportunity for members to know about the various funding and technical resources available regionally and internationally where they can tap into for their development."

She added the AGM would also include the election of new board members.

The week-long discussions will also be attended by PIPSO partners, LearnFast NZ, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS), Pacific Leadership Programme (PLP), Pacific Community (SPC) and the United Nations Development Programme.
